Setting up IPTV on a Firestick is one of the most common questions we get from new UK and USA subscribers. The good news: it takes less time than making a cup of tea. This is a dedicated, detailed Firestick walkthrough — if you'd rather see a quicker overview across Android, iPhone and Fire Stick together, check our general installation guide.
You'll need an active IPTV Smarters Pro subscription (get one on our subscriptions page or request a free test — see our best IPTV subscription comparison if you haven't picked a plan yet), your Firestick connected to Wi-Fi, and about 10 minutes.
On your Firestick home screen, go to Settings → My Fire TV → Developer Options. If you don't see Developer Options, go to My Fire TV → About and click on the device name 7 times to unlock it. Turn on "Apps from Unknown Sources" and "ADB Debugging".
Go back to the home screen, open the Search icon, and search for "Downloader". Install the official Downloader app (orange icon) from the Amazon Appstore.
Open IPTV Smarters Pro, choose "Login with Xtream Codes API" (or M3U URL, whichever your order confirmation specifies), and enter the server URL, username and password we emailed you. Tap "Add User" and your channel list will load within a few seconds.
Close and reopen the app once — this refreshes the connection and resolves the vast majority of first-time setup issues.
Double check for typos in your login details, ideally by copy-pasting rather than retyping.
Confirm "Apps from Unknown Sources" is switched on for the Downloader app specifically.
Message our WhatsApp support with a screenshot and we'll walk you through it live.
Order a plan or request a free test and we'll send your login details straight away.
